PVR NEST in partnership with North Delhi Municipal Corporation, Mobile Creches, Navsrishti, Nipun and Umeed- Ray of Hope Society, launched the AANCHAL CHILDSCAPES project.
It leveraged the strengths of all partners to provide safe, nurturing environment of Creche and Care centres to vulnerable children (the age group is 6 months to 12.
These centres were instrumental in providing fundamental education and nutrition to the children and empowered their mothers to take up employment opportunities.
These centres were situated in 10 North Delhi Municipal Corporation Primary Schools
Under Child Friendly Railway Station, PVR NEST partnered with Railway Children India, Ummeed – Ray of Hope Society and on ground outreach partners to make railway stations safe and friendly places for children.
The aim of this project was to ensure immediate security and rehabilitation to the children who have been lost or left behind in the station.. Hence, mitigating their vulnerabilities.
The project had covered a station each in the North, West and South East Central Zones of The Indian Railways. The stations selected in each zone were Ghaziabad Junction (UP), Dadar (Mumbai) and Raipur (Chhattisgarh) respectively.
Business Blasters is the world’s largest start up program by the Delhi Government.
The initiative has been incorporated as a practical component of Entrepreneurship Mindset Curriculum (EMC) for the classes XI and XII which seeks to inculcate a business & entrepreneurial mindset amongst Delhi school students.
In the program, the students were provided seed money to build an idea of a start-up which generated profit or solves a social problem. The program aims to provide a platform to young students to convert their start-up into business enabling them to become job providers rather than job seekers.
#YouForYouth launched in association with Deakin University South Asia was a joint youth-centric social media campaign where people aged between 16 and 35 were encouraged to participate and were provided a platform to display their ideas for setting the roadmap towards the safer future
#YouForYouth campaign engaged with the following areas: • Building Environmental consciousness • Mental health and well-being • Diversity and inclusion • Build Back Better: A sustainable and resilient recovery after COVID-19 pandemic.
The initiative garnered over 75+ ideas for safer future and was covered in 200+ online news portals for the launch and winners announcements.
